Vitamin F: A complex composed of polyunsaturated essential free fatty acids; linoleic acid and linolenic acid, derived from safflower oil. Restores and reinforces lipid barrier function and prevents transdermal water loss (TEWL).
Glycolipids: Biomimetic lipid molecules with restructuring, repairing and protective properties. Strengthen barrier function and boost the hydro-retaining capacity of the skin.
Plant fatty acids: A mix of 3 fatty acids: palmitic acid, stearic acid and oleic acid derived from almond oil, olive oil, linseed oil and borage oil. These fatty acids deeply nourish the skin and improve skin smoothness and elasticity.
Phytosterols: Lipids derived from soybeans (Glycine soja). Structurally similar to skin’s natural lipids, these sterols moisturise skin, reduce water loss, strengthen natural barrier function and sooth the skin.
Cetylhydroxyproline Palmitamide: A pseudo ceramide resembling natural Ceramide NS in structure and activity. Maintains skin barrier function, prevents moisture loss, increases skin elasticity and improves smoothness.
Rapeseed (Brassica campestris) phytosterols: A mixture of phytosterols derived from the rapeseed plant. Due to excellent biomimetic and soothing properties, these phytosterols help to strengthen barrier function and enhance the skin’s natural repair process.
Meadowfoam (Limnanthes alba) oil: A vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the white meadowfoam. Rich in eicosenoic acid (omega 9 fatty acid), this oil shows excellent moisturising, repairing, softening and smoothing properties. Prevents moisture loss and gives the skin a soft cushion feeling.
