Perilla (Shiso) Oil: Extracted from the seeds of Perilla (Shiso, also known as Japanese mint), the richest plant source of omega-3 fatty acids. Perilla oil has multiple beneficial effects; it replenishes skin moisture, reinforces the skin’s natural barrier and helps maintain a healthy complexion. Perilla oil also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Olive (Olea Europaea) oil: Extracted from the olive fruit, olive oil is rich in omega-9 (oleic acid). Shows moisturising, nourishing, softening and healing properties. Due to a high amount of natural phenols, it also acts as a good antioxidant.
Rice (Oryza Sativa) bran oil: Extracted from the germ of rice, this oil is rich in B-complex vitamins and gamma oryzanol (a mixture of sterols and ferulic acids) and shows antioxidant and brightening properties. Rosehip (Rosa canina) fruit oil: Rosehip oil is rich in a natural source of vitamin A, known as trans-retinoic acid, which has the ability to promote skin renewal and repair. Vitamin C from rosehip oil boosts natural production of collagen and elastin and helps diminish the appearance of age spots and areas of discoloration. Lemon (Citrus limon) peel oil: Extracted from the rind of lemons grown in Sicily, this oil possesses strong anti-bacterial and antimicrobial properties. It also shows skin-tightening and tonic effects. Excellent for oily, tired and stressed skin.
May Chang (Litsea Cubeba) fruit oil: An oil extracted from the small, pepper-like fruits of the evergreen tree or shrub of May Chang (Litsea Cubeba). Possesses antibacterial and astringent properties. Excellent for acne-prone skin.
Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium Amara) leaf oil: Extracted from the leaves of the bitter orange tree grown in Sicily. Shows antimicrobial properties and helps clear up oily skin and blemishes.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) leaf oil: Extracted from rosemary leaves, this oil has potent antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Invigorates and tones the skin and acts as a potent antioxidant. Excellent for congested and acne-prone skin.
